| A native of Hot Springs,
Arkansas, Dr. Mike Chesser graduated from Ouachita Baptist University
in Arkadelphia with a BS in Chemistry and Mathematics before going
on to earn his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for
Medical Sciences in Little Rock. He then remained at the University
of Arkansas in Little Rock for a psychiatry externship and a transitional
internship. Upon completion of his formal medical education, Dr.
Chesser served as a Primary Care Medical Officer in the US Navy

area for over nineteen years.
As an OrthoArkansas specialist, Dr. Chesser enjoys the challenge
of diagnosing neurological disorders and interacting with his patients
as he helps them understand and cope with their illness. His special
interests within his field include neuromuscular disorders—peripheral
nerve diseases, muscle diseases, myasthenia gravis, and low back
pain.
Dr. Chesser is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry
and Neurology and has additional subspecialty certification in
Clinical Neurophysiology.
As the parents of two teenagers, Dr. Chesser and his wife, an
ultrasound technologist, spend much of their time on the go. When
he can find time for leisure, Dr. Chesser enjoys running, fishing,
