Dr. Hudson, a former University of Arkansas football player, combined his love of medicine and sports when he became an orthopedic surgeon. He joined OrthoArkansas in 2003 and he enjoys helping people with injuries, arthritis and other conditions. His medical interests include shoulder and knee surgery.
After earning a Bachelor of Arts in history at UA Fayetteville, Dr. Hudson was a research assistant at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. He entered the Louisiana State University School of Medicine and after receiving his Doctor of Medicine degree, he returned to Arkansas for an internship and a residency in orthopedic surgery at UAMS.
He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Mississippi State Medical Association and the Southern Medical Association.
Dr. Hudson met his wife, Mary, while he was in medical school. They have twin sons. When he is not working or spending time with his family, he enjoys hiking, biking and other outdoor activities.
