Dr. Nallu is a physiatrist who specializes in physical medicine, rehabilitation and pain management at OrthoArkansas. After completing undergraduate studies at St. Ann's Junior College for Women in India, Dr. Nallu earned her Doctor of Medicine degree at Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College. She continued her medical training with internships at Gandhi Hospital, Tanvir Hospital and J.S. Hospitals in India. She did residency training at Frankford Hospital in Philadelphia and served as chief resident physician in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Pittsburgh (UPMC) Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.
With her desire to help patients improve the quality of their lives through pain management, Dr. Nallu did fellowship training at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh. Her practice specialties are lower back and neck pain, lumbar radiculopathy, musculoskeletal disorders and acute and chronic pain. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Dr. Nallu is a member of the American Academy of Physiatrists, the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and she served on patient education and rehabilitation committees at UPMC Mercy Hospital.
In her leisure time, Dr. Nallu enjoys travel, cooking and family activities with her husband, Virendra, and their two sons, Saikiran and Saivarun.
