Dr. Kirk Reynolds is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine with specific expertise in problems of the shoulder, knee, ankle and elbow. His practice focuses on arthroscopic treatment of many shoulder, elbow and knee injuries. He also specializes in cartilage restoration of the knee including matrix autologous chondrocyte implantation (MACI) and cartilage transplants, as well as, advanced shoulder reconstruction including total shoulder arthroplasty and reverse shoulder arthroplasty.

Dr. Reynolds, a native of Searcy, Arkansas, attended the University of Arkansas, and then received a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas.  Dr. Reynolds practiced physical therapy in northwest and central Arkansas for four years with a strong interest in orthopaedic injuries and rehabilitation.  After attending medical school at UAMS in Little Rock he completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at UAMS in 2012.

Dr. Reynolds returns to Arkansas from Colorado where he completed a fellowship in sports medicine and shoulder surgery at CU Sports Medicine and the University of Colorado.  While in Colorado, Dr. Reynolds served as an assistant team physician for the University of Colorado Buffaloes and the University of Denver Pioneers.

Dr. Reynolds is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He is an active member of the Arkansas Orthopedic Society, Southern Orthopedic Association, American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine and the Arthroscopy Association of North America. He currently represents the State of Arkansas on the Council of Delegates of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine.

Dr. Reynolds’ wife, Kimberly Krulin Reynolds, MD, is a Gynecologist at The West Little Rock Women’s Clinic. When not working, Dr. Reynolds enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He and his family are avid fans of the Arkansas Razorbacks and attend Second Presbyterian Church in Little Rock.
