Kristen Wagner, PA-C is originally an Ohio native but has called Arkansas home for the past 12 years. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. After moving to Little Rock, she earned her Master of Education in Middle Childhood from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. In her first career, Kristen taught for 8 years in middle school and post-secondary settings. However, the creation of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences’ Physician Assistant Studies Program inspired her to pursue her dream of practicing medicine. She recently graduated from UAMS with her Master of Physician Assistant Studies.
Kristen was drawn to the field of orthopedics because she recognizes the negative impacts of musculoskeletal disorders, limiting people in their professional and personal endeavors. The interventions available in modern orthopedic medicine have the potential to dramatically improve many patients’ quality of life. She looks forward to working with Dr. Grynwald and Dr. Wirges to help her patients return to the activities they love.
Kristen spends her time outside the clinic with her husband and daughter traveling, camping, and enjoying Arkansas’ various lakes and rivers. She also crochets and engages in amateur photography.
