    Jasen C. Chi, M.D.

Dr. Chi, who has an interest in biochemistry and immunology, finds great satisfaction in helping patients with autoimmune conditions and severe rheumatoid arthritis control their disease and attain an excellent quality of life.

After earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt University, Dr. Chi received his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Following an internship and a residency in internal medicine at Methodist Le Bonheur Hospital, Memphis, Dr. Chi returned to Little Rock for a fellowship in rheumatology at UAMS.

Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Dr. Chi and his family moved to Little Rock about 25 years ago to become involved in the restaurant industry. With this background, he still spends much of his leisure time in the kitchen cooking and creating new dishes. He also enjoys building mountain bikes (a hobby he learned in college while working to pay his way through school), traveling and tennis. Dr. Chi says that working at OrthoArkansas and being able to live in Little Rock with his wife, Thuy Hoang Chi, and his family is a dream-come-true.
