Joint Replacement
Specialized care and treatment for conditions affecting the shoulders, hips, and knees requiring surgical intervention — including Joint Reconstruction, Revision Joint Surgery, Arthroscopy and Partial and Total Joint Replacement.
Connected Joint Replacement & Recovery
At OrthoArkansas, our team of fellowship-trained joint replacement physicians and providers work closely with patients and their caregivers to ensure a successful path to recovery and relief.
- Joint Reconstruction
- Revision Joint Surgery
- Arthroscopy
- Partial and Total Joint Replacement
Joint replacement surgery is considered only when non-surgical treatment options and conservative treatments are no longer effective. These conservative treatments include:
Lifestyle modifications:
weight optimization, gait aids, exercises to improve strength and range of motion
Medications:
anti-inflammatories, steroid injections, or lubricating solution injections
Other treatments:
targeted nerve injections, meditation, acupuncture, and other techniques addressing chronic pain
OrthoArkansas Joint Consultations
Our joint replacement consultations are all for the patient to make sure they have the support, resources and clear communication they need for the best outcome. Our joint replacement patients can expect:
- direct communication with a surgeon, midlevel provider, and therapist
- written patient information and educational videos
- discussion of desired outcomes and plan of care
Guidance every step of your joint journey.
At OrthoArkansas, each surgical patient is assigned a care navigator who walks alongside the patient throughout their surgical journey – answering questions, coordinating care and supporting families.
