Katie Stallings is a National Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C). Originally from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Katie started her career in medicine in 2017 by earning a bachelor’s degree in health sciences from the University of Central Florida. She continued her education by successfully completing the Harding University Physician Assistant Program in 2020, graduating with a master’s degree in physician assistant studies. Katie began as a practicing PA-C with OrthoArkansas in March 2021, working directly with fellowship-trained sports medicine surgeon, Dr. Kirk Reynolds, MD, in the diagnosis and treatment of injuries and disorders of the shoulder, knee, elbow, foot and ankle. She is an active member of the American Association of Physician Assistants and Arkansas Academy of Physician Assistants.

As a PA-C, she is required to complete at least 100 hours of continuing education every two years and pass a re-certifying board exam every 10 years. Physician assistants are considered dependent providers and are overseen by their supervising physician and the State Medical Board. In practice, PAs are considered an extension of their supervising physician. Katie’s training as an advanced practice provider enhances the depth of knowledge, flow of communication, and quality of patient care in the clinic.
