Dr. Michael Hussey is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon providing comprehensive orthopedic care to patients across Arkansas. His extensive training allows him to treat a broad range of complex musculoskeletal problems, from sports injuries to arthritis.
Dr. Hussey graduated medical school from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Texas, a world-class center for fracture and upper extremity care. From there, he pursued fellowship training at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute, gaining expertise in arthroscopic as well as joint replacement techniques. He later traveled abroad for international fellowship training in minimally invasive reconstruction at the prestigious Alps Surgery Institute in France, and completed the MAOA Traveling Fellowship in advanced reconstruction at the Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Hussey’s dedication to orthopedics is evident in his numerous research investigations and publications in orthopedic literature. He is the author of four book chapters and serves as a consultant reviewer for the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery.
A native Arkansan, Dr. Hussey is an outdoor enthusiast, enjoying every chance he gets to fish, hunt, and spend time on our great lakes and state parks with his wife and three children.
