URGENT CARE FOR ALL

Specialized head-to-toe urgent care — no appointment needed. OrthoArkansas Urgent Care treats patients with recent injuries, sprains or fractures.

At our Urgent Care clinics, patients are examined by a nurse practitioner or physician assistant, X-rays are ordered if needed, and diagnosis and treatment are provided.

Please Note:

  • If you have had X-rays or imaging at another facility, please bring the physical copy of your images (a CD is preferred) to your urgent care visit. This will prevent us from having to repeat your X-rays.

  • Due to patients being seen without scheduled appointment times, we are unable to predict wait times for the urgent care clinic.

Frequent Asked Questions

Where should I go for emergency care for sudden orthopedic injuries?

Picture this: it’s Saturday morning, and a pickup basketball game at Don Owen Complex ends with you cradling a swollen wrist. A quick search for Emergency Ortho Care in Conway might point to general clinics—but bone, joint, or muscle injuries deserve orthopedic-focused evaluation. At OrthoArkansas Conway, fellowship-trained providers see you right away, order on-site X-rays, and apply splints or casts within minutes. No bouncing between facilities; your entire visit happens under one roof geared specifically for musculoskeletal problems.

Injuries don’t keep banker’s hours. Maybe you slip on a wet kitchen floor after dinner or feel a “pop” in your knee during an evening dog-walk. You need an after-hours clinic near Conway that stays open beyond the usual nine-to-five. OrthoArkansas Urgent Care in Conway is open 8 a.m.–5 p.m. every weekday, extends to 7 p.m. several nights a week, and sees walk-ins on Saturday from 8 a.m.–2 p.m. That means you’re treated promptly instead of waiting until Monday, when pain and swelling can ramp up.

Conway parents know time is critical when a child’s fracture is suspected. Rather than driving to Little Rock or waiting at a hospital ER, choose the closest urgent care to me that specializes in bones and joints. We’re just minutes from the University of Central Arkansas campus and I-40 Exit 129. Easy parking, a ground-floor entrance, and digital check-in speed the process—so your child is diagnosed, splinted, and on the road to healing before anxiety sets in.

Many strains and sprains respond best to early intervention: compression wraps, controlled motion, and, when needed, ultrasound-guided injections. Our clinic offers same day ortho care with access to MRI scheduling, bracing, and physical-therapy referrals before you leave. Early, orthopedic-specific guidance prevents minor damage from turning into chronic pain—saving you money and downtime later.

Real-world examples we see every week:

Timely reduction of dislocation prevents joint stiffness and nerve issues.

Gardener steps in hole, ankle rolls

Immediate X-ray distinguishes sprain from fracture, guiding proper boot or cast use.

Our OrthoArkansas emergency services extend beyond casting and splinting. We offer:

  • On-site digital imaging for quick results

  • Fracture reduction and immobilization

  • Laceration repair for cuts over joints

  • Sports physicals when school deadlines loom

  • Direct referral to subspecialty surgeons if surgery becomes necessary

Because our urgent care is embedded within the larger OrthoArkansas network, all records flow seamlessly to your follow-up specialist. No repeated paperwork, no explaining your injury twice—just continuous, coordinated healing.
