ADAM SMITH, MD

Meet Dr. Smith

Dr. Adam Smith’s subspecialty training is in reconstruction of the hip and knee. After completing medical school at UAMS and orthopedic residency at the University of Mississippi, he completed fellowship training in hip and knee replacement at the Mississippi Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Clinic Adult Reconstruction in Jackson, Miss. While in residency, Dr. Smith participated in an AO International Fellowship in Switzerland.

The goal of his practice is to provide expert treatment of hip and knee problems with use of arthroscopy, partial (unicompartmental) and total knee replacement, total hip replacement, mini-incision hip replacement, realignment procedures (avoiding joint replacement), and revision hip and knee replacements (when the prosthesis has failed).

Dr. Smith is a native of Hot Springs, Ark., and is excited to return to practice in his home state. He and his wife Wendy are the delighted parents of two daughters.
