Meet Dr. Andersson
Jeanine Andersson, MD, specializes in surgery of the hand and upper extremity. Using microsurgery and the latest minimally invasive techniques, Dr. Andersson treats work-related injuries, fractures, degenerative diseases and deformities of the hand, elbow and arm. She treats traumatic injuries of the upper extremity and specializes in joint replacement of the elbow, wrist, and small joints of the hand.
Dr. Andersson is Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery and earned a Certificate of Additional Qualification in Hand and Microsurgery. Her medical doctorate degree is from Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Ill. She came to Arkansas for the first time when she did her training in orthopedic surgery at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and fell in love with the natural state. After completing a year-long fellowship in hand and microsurgery at Duke University in Durham, N.C., Dr. Anderson returned to Little Rock.
She has a full and balanced life including a busy hand surgery practice and a wonderful home with her husband, Thomas, and four children: Piper, Mattias, Beckett and Winslow.
