Brent Walker, MD

Dr. Walker is a triple board-certified physician specializing in non-surgical, interventional pain management. With expertise in managing painful spine conditions, both cervical (neck) and lumbar (mid to lower back), he brings over 25 years of experience to create personalized treatment plans aimed at reducing pain, enhancing activity, and restoring function to improve quality of life. “My favorite part of the day is seeing patients accomplish tasks they couldn’t manage before treatment,” says Dr. Walker. “It’s incredibly rewarding to know our team played a role in those successes.” Dr. Walker also has extensive experience treating complex regional pain syndrome (formerly known as reflex sympathetic dystrophy), a potentially disabling condition. He applies a multimodal approach, optimizing the chances of remission. Relying on best practices in evidence-based methods, procedures, and interventions to guide his care, Dr. Walker offers a range of treatments both in-office and at the spine procedure center. For those rare cases where non-operative care isn’t effective, he may suggest a surgical consultation: “We’re fortunate to have a fantastic team of spine surgeons here at OrthoArkansas who can discuss surgical options if necessary.” Outside of OrthoArkansas, Dr. Walker enjoys spending time with family, traveling, boating on Lake Hamilton, and calling the Hogs!
