Brian Norton, MD

Brian Norton, MD, specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery, bringing advanced care and innovative techniques to every patient.

Dr. Norton is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery with additional board certifications in surgery of the hand. He earned his bachelor’s degree and doctorate at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences before completing his residency at the world-renowned Campbell Clinic in Memphis, Tenn. He then headed north for a hand fellowship in Philadelphia before returning to his Arkansas roots. While in Philadelphia he received special training in microsurgery, wrist and small-joint arthroscopy, upper extremity joint replacement, fracture care, and tendon and nerve repair. He developed a special interest in sports injuries to the wrist and elbow while treating upper extremity injuries to the Philadelphia Phillies, Flyers, Philadelphia Eagles and 76ers. He is actively involved in cutting-edge research and has publications in several journals.

He is an active candidate member of the American Society of Surgery of the Hand and the American Association for Hand Surgery. Throughout his extensive training, Dr. Norton has been recognized with awards for excellence and achievement. Today he uses advanced surgical procedures to restore flexibility, movement and comfort to patients with hand and upper extremity injury or disease.

As an avid outdoorsman and hunter, Dr. Norton appreciates all that Arkansas has to offer. In his free time he enjoys hunting, fishing and golfing, along with spending time with his family and serving on mission trips.
